the albatross
i wrote this one last year as a part of my 10th grade final. The name came after i finished it, but i'd like to think that the slow, yet forward-moving melody in the strings portrays the image of an albatross flying across the sea. it's definitely not one of my best works, but i feel like it's one of the most 'complete' from a compositional standpoint, and i'm afraid that adding anything else would make it too full.
ripples
a shorter composition. this one has a funny story behind it. i was about to take a flight, and my spotify premium expired. i wanted to listen to music during the flight though. so i composed this on my laptop at the airport and exported the midi to garageband. then i listened to it on loop. it was originally for piano, but i liked the way it sounds with synth better.
